Pure Joi Selections sea moss is shipped directly from a company located on the island of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.

Sea Moss is generally considered safe for most people to use including children.

Some articles suggest Sea Moss is a great source for anyone pregnant, but other articles we’re against it.

• We believe if you take Sea Moss in moderation & do not exceed the recommended daily dosage, consuming Sea Moss while pregnant can be safe. 

In addiction, evidence suggests that Sea Moss may have potent anticoagulant or blood-thinning properties which is why you should avoid consuming it if you're taking blood-thinning medication.

We advise that you contact your healthcare provider before consuming this and any products & always do your own research on Sea Moss gel & its benefits.

First, we want to highlight that Everyone's body is different. Some may feel changes within the first week or so, and other may take longer. 

• Adding sea moss to your diet is a lifestyle change and commitment. CONSISTENCY IS KEY to seeing results.

Most commonly used to create a gel, Sea Moss can be prepared in many ways, which can be consumed or applied topically. 

The daily recommendation is 1-2 tablespoons. Sea Moss can be consumed right from the jar or added to your favorite drinks, teas, smoothies,  juices and shakes.

Sea Moss gel is tasteless and can added to a variety of dishes while cooking. Sea Moss gel can serve as an excellent vegan (plant-base) substitute thickening agent, replacing gelatin, cornstarch, nuts, fats and carbohydrates.

Sea Moss offers antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which means it can help with issues like acne and aging skin. Containing vitamins and minerals like magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin K, and omega-3 fatty acids, Sea Moss can be applied topically to help hydrate and promote healthy skin cell function. 

Dried Sea Moss has a shelf life of approximately one year when stored in a cool, dry and dark space.

Sea Moss gel should be stored in the refrigerator to maintain it’s freshness and potency. Use a clean jar or bowl and keep COMPLETELY closed. 

• Sea Moss gel is not intended to be stored but rather to be consumed.
• Spoilage may vary, but typically can last for up to 2 - 3 weeks when stored properly.
• If needed, Sea Moss gel can also be frozen for up to 3 months.

At Pure Joi Selections our Sea Moss+ Capsules are made with a combination of Sea Moss powder, Bladderwrack powder and Burdock Root powder. The shelf life for our capsules are 1 year to the date they were made. (refer to the expiration date located on the bottle)

In Comparison, our Sea Moss gel does not have any preservatives,  as mentioned in a previous question, spoilage may vary, but typically PLAIN and HERB infused sea moss gel can last for up to 3 - 4 weeks & FRUIT infused sea moss gel can last 2- 3 weeks when stored properly.
